Yen Ching - Richmond Heights

We had a party of seven, two children. Delicious food! Excellent service! I was so great to eat fantastic Chinese Food at a sir down restaurant. The staff was wonderful!Kid-friendliness: The children in our party were 6 and 9 and they have been to restaurants in St. Louis, other cities in the US and out of the country. They both had a great time!

Our normal Chinese place was closed today so we tried Yen Ching. The taste of the sweet n sour chicken and cashew chicken sauces was very good but it was very thick. The chicken was crispy. The crab rangoon was very good! The fried rice was not fried at all, it was just white rice with some crisp vegetables. The egg drop soup was littlerally a bowl of eggs...there was no soup involved. The customer servuce was great. They were quick, food was hot and the restaurant was very clean. My review is based on my own preferences and just thought others would benefit from it. It was fairly expensive $43 for 2 meals and an appetizer

Food was pretty good. Crab Rangoon, Pot Stickers, Sesame Chicken Yen Ching Beef was $69.35. The prices were 70% higher than on the Yelp menu. Be sure and go to their actual website for prices so you are not surprised. Also for almost $70 they only gave us 3 packets of soy sauce and 4 of sweet and sour sauce so be specific on how many you want.

I’ve been going here for 30 yrs. Service not what it used to be. Poor recent wait staff experiences with premium prices.
