Coastal Confections - Richmond Hill

Coastal Confections is the BEST! What drew me to them was the fact that they could do anything. After visiting her website and seeing her Belle of the Bayou Wedding Cake, I knew I had found someone who could make my cake. I asked her about a croquembouche as I and my husband shared a deep Cajun/French heritage and wanted our cake to reflect our heritage. Her head pastry cook, Davy Crockett never hesitated to our request. He did an excellent job! You can't go wrong with Coastal Confections.

I can't say enough great things about Davy and Coastal Confections. The cake tasting was delicious and Davy makes you feel you are old friends when you visit. The cake was one of the cheapest options we found. Davy was quick with answers when I had any questions or requests and went out his way to add flowers to my cake, although I did not make a florist as last minute decision. He just does everything he can to make your cake perfect, and it was DELICIOUS! I write this review a year later, because my husband and I just had our anniversary animal a few days early and WOW is all I can say. You will not eat a ton of cakes on your own wedding, so the fact that we actually have to enjoy it a year later was perfect. I have heard so many people that the jubilee animal is disgusting a year later and is just a tradition, but with the icy instructions Davy gives the cake was just as delicious (if not so) than we remembered. Thanks to Davy and Coastal Confections, our guests could not only enjoy our wedding cake, but also we! Thank you.

For Valentine's Day, Coastal Confections advertised a chocolate box filled with a range of chocolate truffles. I bought one to give as a gift amazing! Nice to see, and the chocolate and truffles were absolutely delicious. Mr. Murray can not only create beautiful cakes (as shown by the work on his website), he also creates wonderful confectionery pleasures.

Coastal Confections are creative, professional, reliable and especially delicious! We worked together to design a baby shower cake and it was just perfect. I would recommend it at any time!
