Eggsmart - Richmond Hill

2017/02/26<br/ We met some friends for lunch today at Eggsmart. The restaurant was about three quarters full, and we were able to get a table for the four of us. <br/ <br/ SWMBO found one of her guilty pleasures: The Heart Break Burger, topped with peanut butter, banana slices, and crispy bacon. They included some standard burger garnishes on the side (lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle), but this is not a standard burger, so she had them separately, as a 'salad '. <br/ <br/ I chose the Baja Bennie, with avocado, pico de gallo, chipotle tabasco infused hollandaise. A nice Mexican twist on a traditional brunch favourite.

We often go to the Eggsmart restaurant at 16th and Leslie for our weekend brunch! The service is always great! The owner, Nick, is a very nice and sweet man and I am sure he, with his great attitude, sets the mood for the staff to be friendly, attentive and quick! : I always look forward to our weekend brunch at Nick's Eggsmart!

My smoked salmon and cream cheese toasted bagel arrived and it was a big portion too! There were many, many capers scattered all over the plate and there were fresh rings of sweet onions on the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel too. Yum! It also came with fresh fruit. I liked my breakfast and appreciated the extra capers too.

Such a family vibe. I go with my kids often and really appreciate the warmth of the staff there. <br/ <br/ The food is always good. It's like a hug.
