Great HK style dishes and more. Lots of combos and specials to choose from. All locations are great. This one is extra spacious and nicely designed.

First time at Golden Horseshoe. It is a typical Hong Kong cafe restaurant. Friendly staff, nice seating and decor, good selection of dishes on the menu. If you follow them on Facebook they post the daily special there. They put the utensils in a bucket of boiling water to sterilize them which is very much appreciated. The menu is online. We ordered: Clam Chowder 周打蜆湯: very creamy. Large portion. Comes with a bun on the side but the bun was not warm and bit dry Curry Beef Brisk Rice (comes with a hot drink and soup) 咖喱牛腩: delicious Fish Salad吉列魚柳 沙律 : very tender. Light crispy breading. Salad is a potato which tasted ok, not great F/RiceNoodles/Beef: yummy ALL DAY COMBO SS Pork Rice旧嚕肉飯 (comes with a hot drink and soup): really tasty. Can really taste the pepper in the sauce without it being too spicy. Overall a good meal. Will recommend and come again to order other items on their menu.

A fancy spacious Hong Kong café. Reasonably priced tasty food and drinks. Speedy professional service. Plenty of parking in the plaza. One of our go-to Hong Kong café.

Each combo meal costs around $15-20 and includes a soup, a main dish of either rice or noodles, and a drink—my choice is always hot milk tea. The portion sizes are fair, and the quality is generally better than at many other 茶餐廳 (tea restaurants). You really can't go wrong with their dishes; you're unlikely to be disappointed with the servings. I ordered the Portuguese chicken baked rice. It had a wonderful aroma, and the sauce was the right consistency. However, it seemed they used something different to thicken it because even when it was steaming hot, the sauce was already quite thick. One important note: if you prefer your steak medium, be sure to specify "medium rare" when ordering. We requested 三成熟 (medium) but received 五成熟 (well done) instead. The good news is that the restaurant made us a fresh one without any hassle. We appreciate their willingness to rectify the situation! We might return in the future for another visit.
