The food is quite good, but overall, it's a pricey Hong Kong-style café serving Italian cuisine.
We ordered a birthday cake, but Maxim completely ignored our request. The lady owner and the staff, who spoke with a Mandarin accent, not only failed to apologize for the mistake but also casually suggested that we just pick something from the nearly empty shelf. When we expressed our concerns, they responded rudely with a 10% discount offer. Because of our food allergies, we can't arbitrarily choose something as a solution. Maxim's service is extremely irresponsible. We are very disappointed and will not be ordering from them again!
The food is fantastic, and although it takes some time to be served, it's definitely worth the wait. The dinner specials are also a great deal, as they come with appetizers, soup, and dessert.
I wouldn't recommend the lobster pasta. It was quite bland and really needed some seasoning or added flavor. The pasta itself was overcooked as well. The service was extremely slow, which may be due to being understaffed. I had to ask multiple times for cutlery, plates, and drinks, and it felt like the servers were overwhelmed and running around.
