Taftan Kebab - Richmond Hill

I hate to write bad reviews and never bother with it.but it was the worst Persian food ever. It used to be ok but recently the quality in everything got very poor. I don’t go there anymore. The manager is very rude.

We used to order from Taftan once in a while. All kebabs were good enough to enjoy. But recently every time we order the meat is so dry and tasteless that you wonder if it was a canceled order sitting there from last night or what. How can chicken thigh be so dry with no juice pass though the rice? Or kubide…. Taste like newspaper-mash mixed with onion and salt. I don’t know how the price is doubled…. yet the quality dropped double down as well. Forget about Tahdig. It’s three days old… I wish that didn’t happen to Taftan. I am sorry that we decided to delete their number from our phone.

Changing my review. Ghormesabzi stew was soo terrible! Definitely straight out of a can. Made us feel so sick. Kabab and jooje were no hood either. The staff were different so that’s probably why..

Whenever I come to Toronto from the US, I like to order from Taftan. This time when I ordered, for the first time ever, they got my order wrong, they multiplied my order by 3! Honest mistake, the lady may have misheard. But, when I was there and made the correction, she got eratic and rude and accused me of being a guy that always does this. I literally had to pull out my US drivers license to show her I wasn't lying. Her treatment was degrading, disrespectful and unfortunate. When I told her respectfully that customer service is very important when dealing with clients, she didn't even look at me and she never apologized. I am very disappointed. Though the food is great,, I am not enjoying it at all because of this bad experience. I will not be ordering from there again.

Terrible taste for kebob. It was not even real meat but grilled ground junk. I will never go back.
