Taste of Mediterranean - Richmond Hill

The owner Sam is great, brings fresh food every day. I go as often as I can during lunch to get high quality food. The Falafel is very good and also the plates. People are also very good. In any case, visit this place when you are in the area. Who writes bad reviews has never eaten here...

Rice completely boiled and crispy (which can cause food poisoning, FYI.) Salad brown. Meat is overcooked and taste notes. I gave this place 3 chances over 1 year and I will not go back. I'm not one to write negative reviews, but if the owners read this... the quality and taste of your food is seriously lacking. Who knows how well the Mediterranean tastes, will agree. I also had different things here three times. Every time, not good.

Dinner at 7.45 on Friday night 10. Apr. Doors were closed, but a person went around, inside. We knocked the door, but he ignored us. He went and hid behind the kitchen walls! At the door are the closing hours...8.00. On Yeloow Pages ad, closing times are 9:00. We called the restaurant. The person would not answer, and an answer came. We left a message and no one returned the call. After all, we went to another restaurant. If that's a franchise, the attitude will hurt her business.

Everything went well until I pulled out my groupon sheet. the manager changed his postage afterwards. after him, groupon deal did not allow the customer to choose a thema or menu. the eating was in order, but rude manager discouraged me for future business....1. time of using groupon that treats me as 2nd grade or feel cheapskates. I had checked the fine print, no restriction of the menu mentioned. the restaurant is usually very flexible for groupon customers, but not this. groupon: taste of Mediterranean $26 groupon for 2. the amount paid for this voucher (C$15) with taste of mediterranean manager prepared 2 lunch boxes without the customers a change. a) Beef gyro, rice, kartoffel and salat b) chicken sauce, rice, kartoffel and salat it was a burning experience that I would remember for a long time in a bad wise!

Sadly the last 2 visits have shown the portion size and quality of the food to be trending badly. I held off posting as I thought that maybe it could have been a one time bad experience and in the past this restaurant has always...been a good place for a meal. I found the salad to have a large portion of brown lettuce, appeared to have more onions than anything else in comparison...just call it an onion salad and it would have been perfect!
