Can’t believe my Unagi Don contains only THREE pieces of Eel now. Really hope the owner could see my review and improve the food. Service is always good.
Overall Great little Japanese restaurant. Got the Toshi course. The course was really good and satisfying. In terms of taste, the food is comparable to some other Omakase for lower price. Unfortunately because this not a Omakase only restaurant it does fall short a bit in the service department. The Chefs do their best to cater to everyone, so there maybe long gaps between pieces. I would say this is a good budget Omakase restaurant.
This place is terrifying, we paid a total of $231 and the pictures attached were what we got yesterday. Quantity wise, it was nowhere near competitors. Quality wise is even a bigger gap, the spider roll $12) was dry and tasteless, the maki was soggy, the fish caused a stomach ache because my friends ate their sashimi/nigiri $58 each set, two sets total), the terriyaki chicken $30) looks like it is from a foodcourt. Tempura portion is half the size of downtown’s restaurant at the same price. $38) The only thing decent was the miso soup which is included in the set.I will never visit this place again, do us a favour and close this place down, it is beyond shameful that these were made by Japanese chef.
Excellent omakase meal one of the more affordable ones in Markham. The service was great when it wasn’t busy but once the restaurant filled up, it was obvious they needed more help. There was only one server and she was doing her absolute best. The food quality was excellent and super fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend to others!
One of my favourite omakase restaurants in York Region. Sushi bar in front of the chef seats 8. Been coming here many times for the omakase dining and never disappointed. The fish is always super fresh and served in a very timely fashion. The 2 omakase selections are $75 and $95 which is very fair priced for what you get. I definitely recommend going with the $95 option as it includes the appetizers and sashimi dish which is delicious! Every single person I bring here are amazed by this little gem in Richmond Hill.
