One of the best Chongqing Hot-Pot in Toronto! The taste is authentic. The food quality is good. The beef tripes are in big slices, which you can rarely get from an all-you-can-eat restaurant. You pay for the food ordered on menu. I don’t have a big stomach, but want to try many varieties, so this place is perfect for me. I wish the restaurant can keep doing well, so I can always know where to go when I need a hot-pot.
We ordered the mandarin duck pot. I call this butter pot spicy but it is so spicy! I can't bear it, I can't imagine how spicy it can be. The waiter was very considerate to help me fish out the chili, otherwise the more it cooks, the hotter it will be.There are still quite a lot of choices for other dishes. We ordered streaky beef, mutton, beef balls, shrimp paste, spicy bullfrog legs, hairy tripe and various vegetables. All fresh and tasty. Especially the beef streaky, which is just fat and thin, and it will be tender no matter how you rinse it. too delicious. We got on a special promo for their 5th anniversary. It is actually 50% off! Super deal
Great, fresh food! The interior is nicely decorated and clean. Service given by our waitress was good as well. Because it’s not all you can eat, the price does add up quite quickly. The spicy soup base, even at medium heat, will burn your mouth and throat as it enters (which means it’ll burn coming out as well). The spice is just so overwhelming that you can’t taste your food. Just heat. The tomato soup, sukiyaki, and pork bone soup bases are good though!
