It's a 20-minute walk from there, so not much different than a venue in Twickenham town center. I made a telephone booking about 10 days before our visit and clarified that on rugby days, they offer a restricted menu at lunchtime but a full menu in the evenings. Note that there is a good specials menu in addition to the extensive menu on the website. We had booked for 6:30 pm, and the restaurant was busy with many other customers who had also been to the rugby match. We received a warm welcome, and the service throughout was friendly and efficient. For starters, we had dough balls, mushrooms, mussels, calamari, and whitebait. For mains, we had carbonara, calzone, and sea bass fillets, all served with salad or chips. The portions were generous and very tasty, and the food and wine were reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Cafe Venice and will definitely be returning.
On the other day I had sharp bark pizza, the literally the best handmade pizza I ever had. the flesh was really juicy and all seasoned were very well absorbed in it. the use of crumbles was brilliant fair gets them all this beautiful mix, but not too much. I had garlic bread with cheese for the starter, what was finger licking good.
Have eaten here some paints because of the comfortable location. eating is average. very loud on a rugby day that is understandable; but older elders visited early on Wednesday evening, they enjoyed their meal, but the experience was pampered by a loud family...with disturbing children. regardless of other diners, but the personal did nothing to ensure that other people were not affected.
They've been here for years. eating was always good, but the price of drinks has risen massively!
On Friday to lunch and we were both very impressed. it had a nice buzz and was busy and we both enjoyed the meals we ordered.
