The sponge turned out to be dry and the cream seemed split as it was very grainy. I rang the shop. It was explained to me that 'display cakes ' are not the same as ones made to order and no compensation applies to them. I said I would take the remaining half of the cake for them the following day for them to see what they had sold me and I was told the cake would be too old then. So, I suggest that you do NOT buy cakes that are on display in the shop. They don 't even consider them to be of good quality when they sell them to you.
Customer service zero .3 members of staff 3 customers yet the lady couldn't bring our toasted sandwich to the table but managed to walk and tell us it was ready ???? No napkin and no chocolate on cappuccino .3 dirty tables not been cleaned in our duration of stay . Never again to much choice on the high street to go back .
Had a strawberry tart. Tasteless and the base could have been used to re surface the road. Very over priced!
Almost every morning I’ve been visiting our neighbors “Paul’s Bakery” and I’ve discovered that here and there they would manage to sell me old (knowing by dried out cheese) baguette
Did a first too good to go, ambience seemed relaxed, nice team member on shift, fantastic selection of food, bar 2 stale breads .. Still worth it.
