Ricardos Cellar Twickenham

A long delayed review...as a Twickenham local, I enjoy being a regular at both Ricardo's locations. The staff are friendly and always give good recommendations. I enjoy sitting outside on Church Street during the summer. Ricardo's was also able to arrange the wine for our wedding party at quite short notice. Highly recommend whether you're in Twickenham for the rugby, passing by or a local!

We have been attending Ricardo's wine tasting events since they began, and they are fantastic. The people who come are like-minded, not pretentious, and just enjoy wine and socializing. It's an event, but it also feels like a community gathering. There is usually a list of different wines to try, including red, white, and sparkling, and now they have added a session for trying microbrewery ales. Each person gets to try at least 10 tastings. Some of the wines are of high quality and you can try them multiple times within the tasting limit. Ricardo, Ashley, and the team are all friendly, approachable, and create a fun, laid-back atmosphere instead of a snooty one. Everyone is welcome and we feel fortunate to have this experience right on our doorstep.

Can see why this place is so high on tripadvisor! Ricardo himself is very friendly and attentive king with the rest of the staff. Decent selection of craft beer, nibbles and an extensive collection of wines. Can’t wait to come back!

Came here as part of a pub trawl in the summer with 9 of us. 21.00, noone else in very nice host who served us real ales, wine and cigars. Think he is Portuguese. If you like trying different wines come here. During the day the vintage and new Vinyl LP shop is open!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area, offering an excellent variety of drinks. They also provide cheese and small snacks to pair perfectly with their wines. The standout feature is the knowledgeable and helpful staff who give great recommendations. A popular choice for locals, the outdoor seating is a stylish addition to this restaurant.
