The aromas that greet you are simply beautiful. We tried the chicken tom yum soup and the prawn som tham (red papaya salad). The soup had incredible flavors and the salad was refreshing. For our main course, we ordered the king prawn sambal which had a bit of a kick, but was incredibly satisfying in terms of taste. The combination of jasmine rice and red curry was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem of a restaurant, offering such delicious aromas in every dish.
This small restaurant is a hidden gem and a delightful surprise. It may be tiny, but it offers authentic and affordable Thai family cooking, with a few Malay dishes sprinkled in. One standout dish is the delicious laksa, a fragrant coconut milk and noodle soup filled with chicken, tofu, and various seasonings. The family takes pride in using fresh ingredients, including green and pea eggplants imported weekly from their farm. Other must-try specialties include the tender kathiaw noodles seasoned with garlic, sesame oil, spring onion, and coriander. Overall, this cozy spot offers a warm and hospitable atmosphere, making it a great find for lovers of Southeast Asian cuisine.
