We decided to dine here as we were looking for a restaurant nearby to Kew as were visiting for the Christmas Lights. We booked the restaurant in advance and paid a £10 per person deposit to secure our booking for the 3 course Festive menu remember this for later . Big mistake! The food was average and there was a 40 minute minimum wait between courses and we had to forfeit the dessert as needed to leave for our event we had already been in the restaurant already for two hours by this point . My wife politely asked if the desserts could be hurried up as we needed to leave soon. Another 20 minutes passed and nothing. Therefore, we decided to leave without having dessert and complained on paying about the wai. We received no apology from the waitress and she also had the cheek to charge us for the full 3 courses. When we reminded her that we had only eaten 2 courses, she removed £3 pounds from each of our set menus £3 for a dessert? . Furthermore, we were overcharged a second time as she did not remove the prepaid £10 per person, so we had to go back in later that evening and ask for a refund. We received no apology and quite frankly, the waitress had a bad attitude. Note: I failed to check if we were charged for service as we needed to leave, however I imagine we were and if I had realised that, I would have asked for the service to be taken off the bill. We won't be returning and would not recommend this restaurant.

.OK meal but fried haddock was not crispy and the crushed peas were cold. Beer was good. Pies were better that others had.

Fantastic meal and the waiter Craig was really friendly and helpful making the meal really enjoyable. Really nice to visit a quality restaurant which has Camden pale ale Thoroughly recommend it if you are in the area

After an evening at kew gardens we had a table booked for dinner, food was amazing as were the staff. it is worth a visit if you are going to the gardens and would highly recommend

Today I went to the restaurant with my family. The atmosphere was pleasant, the place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We will definitely consider returning in the future.
