The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very friendly. The roasts are priced at £7.50, so I will definitely have to come back for lunch on a Sunday!
The food is good, the company is fine and the building is one of those solid, sturdy structures that seems to have stood there forever. What's not to like about this amiable local pub in Teddington, midway down Waldegrave Road. I first came here about 30 years ago, and though it's been spruced up since then (it used to be a very dingy, dark pub), it has retained its character something appreciated by the regulars. A few licks of paint, a better menu, and The Waldegrave Arms marches on.
This restaurant stands out from the nearby pubs as a modern spot that plays current music. The atmosphere is bright and clean, and they offer a great selection of drinks and snacks.
This pub never fails to deliver. Good pub food, good beer, lovely place to spend an evening. Not much choice on the menu (a few standard pub choices or pizza) but food is good quality
I heard that this building was abandoned for a while, but now it has been transformed into a charming pub. The interior is minimalist, with a square bar in the center. We stopped by for drinks and enjoyed watching Sky TV on one of the walls. The decor was pleasant, and there was a mix of students and other patrons.
