Contribuisci feedbackI hosted my 40th birthday and farewell party here on Saturday. The owner, Elaine, was incredibly accommodating and flexible, helping to make the event a success. The food was outstanding, and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you!
Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. My two-year-old really enjoyed the aquarium!
Halfway point for me! Initially, we were told that our food would be ready in about 15 minutes, but it ended up taking 35 minutes. I ordered deep-fried dim sims, which were nice, but they came with an incredibly small portion of a sweet and tangy sauce. The fried rice was decent, but the Mongolian lamb was unfortunately a letdown for me—it was watery and lacked flavor.
This restaurant is quite average. It's been around for ages, but it has frequently changed its menu, making it inconsistent. I genuinely regret it when my family chooses to meet here, as it just doesn't impress. They only come because it's affordable, though prices have increased lately. The food tastes like typical takeout Chinese, which isn't great. I find that authentic Chinese cuisine has a wonderful flavor, and you usually get good portion sizes for a fair price. Either this place is subpar, or I've simply grown tired of the same old Chinese takeout over the years. The seafood dish I ordered during my last visit — something like spicy rock salt fish — was disappointingly dry and way too salty.
East Court is probably the best restaurant in Richmond. While the prices have gradually increased, it is definitely worth it. The fried rice is my absolute favorite! I also love their rich chicken and honey chicken. The Mongolian lamb is delicious, although it’s a bit too spicy for my taste these days.
