Catterick Village Fisheries

We ordered three large fish and chips. Two of the cod were nicely battered, but one fish, which I could not identify, was thin like plaice and overcooked. The chips were barely cooked and pale, sticking together like mashed potatoes. We were very disappointed because we were told our order had just been completed as we arrived, so it should not have been soggy.

Brilliant fish and chip shop, food is amazing, and there are really large portions at affordable prices. The staff are a good laugh and not miserable, which is always a good thing!

Was staying near by and there were 10 of us ordering. Didn’t have to wait long considering everything was being cooked fresh. Could tell it was a popular place lots of pre orders and a queue out the door. Some of the best chips we have ever had! Brilliant little find.

We ordered at Lunchtime to pick up at 17.15, they were just being wrapped up, we had Fish and Chios x 2, Mushy peas, Curry Sauce and a Haggis. The fish were a really good size and the chips were perfect. Haggis was my desert. Best fish and chips we have had in ages. Wow!

Excellent proper chips freshly made and hot; good customer service. The fish was extremely large and the price was unbeatable. Menu was excellent spoilt for choice.
