Contribuisci feedbackI recently ordered food from this restaurant and went to pick it up. The man working there was not very friendly and told me I would have to wait another 10 minutes. The atmosphere inside was not inviting at all, and I couldn't help but wonder if the same picture I saw in the kitchen reflected the quality of the food. The food itself was nothing special - M&S has better tasting food. Also, the prices were extremely high. I would not recommend this place.
Firstly it was a Saturday night and this place was empty. I 'd ordered online and then went to collect. Pros Thick curry sauce Large chunks of chicken Fluffy boiled rice Firm cauliflower No coriander as requested Hot food (I live 10 minutes drive away) Cons The chicken tikka was dry and looked as if it had been grilled and not tandoored (potentially reheated after initial cook) The chicken madras was bland, soleless and was a spiced up curry (no depth) The side dishes (Cauliflower and Mushroom bhajis) were 50% onion (hot dog style) and covered in what looked like mustard seed Verdict Would I go back? In a word No. The food was bland and absolutely no flavour.
This is our favourite Indian now by far, we have tried them all and nothing comes close to Hurst Tiger. Faultless every time and you always have that great feeling that you have had a damn fine meal. Portions, taste, quality are 10 for 10.
First class fresh takeaway, cooked fresh.I ordered 20/30 mins in advance so no waiting. Good value for money.
We have been regular customers of Hurst Tiger since it first opened. The quality has consistently been excellent, whether dining in or getting takeout. It's always our go-to curry house. The fact that they now offer delivery means we no longer consider ordering from anywhere else.
