Really pricey! I ordered a carne guisada and a pork taco. Again, just two tacos with water to drink. This bill was $18 and change. I asked the lady, “this is for two tacos, right?” She said, “Yes, two tacos, I know it is expensive.” Wow, could’t believe the price. They are larger, but in that area most of the restaurants have larger tacos. Now to the flavor, the carne guisada was very good and tender (no complaints). The pork tacos were definitely not for my taste. The tortillas were homemade and good.
My go to breakfast place since I’ve moved down to Angleton. The ladies are always super nice. Their pancakes are delicious. Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a good place to eat menudo or posole.
Dialed ahead of time and lines were busy as usual and when ringing no one answered and went to their voicemail a few times. Walked in once I arrived and employees were standing by phone not picking up the calls and watched it ring. This would explain my call not being answered. Employees looked bothered when taking my order and one made a comment while placing my order. Making it very clear it was such an inconvenience to them. Tacos were all flipped over making it inconvenient to pick up to eat so all my food fell out. Never had this happen here before we loved picking up tacos at this spot, not sure what’s going on but after the poor service given today and for the amount being charged I rather take my business elsewhere.
Waitresses are always helpful and inviting. Food is always fresh and delicious. I wonder though because this place is so busy why can't they do some updates on their building because they are always packed It doesn't make sense that someone with that much business can't update and make their build better.
