So this used to be the old Sportsman's bar but now it's Shamrocks Cocktail Bar. We're traveling the country in our van and are Harvest Host members and this place gave us a safe place to park for the night. Now the bar.. it reminds me of the bars I grew up in back in Buffalo, it's just a small town watering hole and it might not be much to look at on the outside.. but it's on the inside where the magic happens. There's Oregon lottery machines, pool tables, dart boards and shuffleboard. The drinks are cheap and cold, the hospitality is heart warming and the food is delicious. Sean, the owner, greeted us and showed us where we could park. We had a couple of ice cold beers and a couple of great sandwiches, patty melt (pictured) and s grilled cheese. Thank you Sean for your hospitality and we hope to see you again.

Seems they changed a few things since i last visited and the layout rocks ! Darts ,shuffleboard, pool tables , fooseball , pinball arcades and 6 oregon lottery . Plus super friendly service .

Shamrocks is like Cheers. Except people yell, Shaun! whenever the owner walks in. Great atmosphere, good food, and the best live music!!!
