We've ordered takeout pulled pork bbq with a side of hushpuppies twice from Dukes. The 1st time the meat was faily moist and a little bland. Unfortunately, the hushpuppies were overcooked. The 2nd time, the meat was dry and overcooked...almost tasted burnt...and again, rather bland. We tossed the hushpuppies...rock hard and overcooked. Nearby and reasonably priced but...

We actually found this after being detoured while traveling. Loved the food, the friendly staff, and the atmosphere. Great country this! Great service great staff! Fried chicken delicious, banana pudding was heart stopping. Very pleased will eat here again when I'm back in the area.
