The food is ok, not over the moon, but typical fry truck food! Maria, the owner, is reminiscent of The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. You had better stay on her good side, or she will most definitely yell at you period my daughter asked for a hamburger with cheese, and she immediately snapped, "we call that a cheeseburger!" You are also not allowed to order inside, for milkshakes or ice cream, they will only allow you to strictly order from the window outside, which doesn't quite make sense to me. Although she will warm up to you, you definitely have to go in there with an attitude that will placate her mood. It definitely is a local landmark, but I wouldn't say it's a must have!
Onion chips, hot dogs, burgers beef or chicken. Milkshakes, ice cream. Fries, poutine lots of options. Not really cheap though
Horrible experience, horrible milkshakes. Got yelled at by the owner for parking in the wrong spot so careful where you park! I'd advise not to even stop here, the $5 milkshake was made with barely any ice cream - just milk and flavour. Then I had trouble getting more sour cream for my deep fried mushrooms, the owner said I already got some and then said I should have asked earlier ?????? The front cashier sat with her feet up of the counter and didn't want to get me any more sour cream either - even though I expected to pay and had the money in my hand. Will never return and can't believe they treat their customers like this! I thought maybe she yelled earlier because she thought I couldn't hear her, obviously not. Loganberry milkshakes are at The Famous, way better there. And as for ice cream shops/chip stands; there are many around that will serve you with better attitude, better quality food, and better prices!
I brought my son to the restaurant for a milkshake, and he was interested in seeing the Coca Cola memorabilia they had. However, the lady working there yelled at me and said my son couldn't go to that side. It was a disappointing experience, and we won't be returning.
