The service was excellent and the food was amazing! I had steak, homemade fries, and a salad. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were generous! I had to take some food home! I highly recommend this place! Thank you!

I attempted to ask about the conditions at the restaurant and was met with a dismissive response, told that the waitress only had two hands to handle everything. When our meals finally arrived, the steaks were inedible. To top it off, we were told never to return. This place is terrible, and the staff is incredibly rude. When I requested a receipt from the cashier, she refused to provide one and claimed it would be available on my bank statement. After reading the response to my review, I want to emphasize that I will never go back to a place that treats customers this poorly. We only sampled a small piece of our steak, which was burned, and the owner, trying to defend the quality of the food, claimed that we were just outsiders who didn’t understand how the locals like it. It felt like they were just looking for excuses to get rid of us. The owner is blatantly lying about our behavior.

My favorite spot for outdoor gear! The restaurant is excellent, and the owners are wonderful to work with. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I almost feel like I'm making the locals a little crazy because I'm giving this secret. Gem of a restaurant, but I review... The Sportsman's hat is located on hwy W about halfway between Bethany and Eagleville right in front of Harrison County Lake. I tell you people, this place is beyond words! I had a ribeye steak, a salad and a huge baked potato with HOMEADE potato peel for an appetizer, the steak was by far the best I ever had, and I think I'm a steak expert! My wife had the cats and it's not better than that, they know the cats up there! My friends had a mushroom and a Swiss burger who looked totally out of this world! Very relaxed, very friendly and a very cozy atmosphere!

Wonderful home-cooked food! Wide variety of outdoors sports supplies! Super friendly folks! Can't wait to go back!
