Cafe Esencia - Ridgewood

I never leave reviews, but I love this place! Rose Latte, coffee and food is really good. I'm not a big sweetie, but her churros are so fluffy and tasty. I love that it is a cool place to work with friends or hang and they use organic ingredients. The atmosphere is really nice, it is very well decorated and its bathroom is always really clean.

Absolutely incredible food! I had the Pisto Toast with chorizo and fried egg, the Churros with cinnamon, and the case of Ahorn Latte. I'm almost sure I'll be back. Only con is that the place is somehow small, so I recommend going during the speaking days!

Delicious! We ordered the small Churro wheel and it was the perfect size for the two of us paired with our Spanish ham and cheese sandwich. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely come back!

The space is quite small, and the breakfast menu is quite basic, lacking an extensive selection of classic diner options. They do have an espresso machine, but no drip coffee available. Everything I ordered was excellent, and the staff was friendly. It wasn't crowded at 10:30 on a Sunday morning, which I consider a big plus—usually, I have to wait around 30 minutes at the places I normally visit at that time.

This is by far the most amazing place in the area that I've found. I live just a few blocks away and decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The Spanish ham and cheese sandwich is fantastic, and the Spanish tortilla is delicious – everything was spot on. I will definitely return; this has become my favorite spot!
