La Bocca - Ridgewood

Chef Jack is amazing. Try the ribeye, the gnocchi, the risotto, the canolli They're all delicious. The best restaurant in Ridgewood.

Avoid. Don't get me wrong, it was edible, the establishment was clean and the meals were presented nicely. The bruschetta was saltier than the salt shaker that wasn't on the table which I needed for my main course, the Fettuccini Al Forno, which had about the same amount of seasoning as the table cloth. They forgot to put bread on the table and eventually gave us a stale loaf. The waitress wouldn't let us order apps while we were deciding on the main course she said everything had to be put in at once which was convenient considering we never saw here again after that. The meal was brought out by the chef and the check was handed to us by the hostess. What's 15% divided by 3? Again, not horrible but why would you waste your time and money on 5/10 Italian food in the north Jersey/ New York area where arguably some of the best Italian restaurants in the country reside.

Everything was fantastic. Cute little place with a nice ambiance. Came for my friends birthday and happy we did. My friend and I had the salmon stuffed with crab meat and spinach and my other friend had the pasta Bolognese. Everyone liked everything we had. Had a cannoli for dessert and it was amazing. Would definitely return!

Nice little place away from the busier part of Ridgewood. Service was excellent and food was great. I'll be returning soon.
