Favorite, hidden gem. Family run hole-in-the-wall restaurant that feels authentic and always delivers on delicious, freshly cooked American Mexican cuisine.
Worst Jimboys in the greater Sacramento area in terms of food quality and order accuracy. Paid for: 4 chicken taquitos, 4 beef taquitos, 2 ground beef tacos, 2 potato tacos, 1 side of queso, 1 pink cookie. Received: 8 beef taquitos, 2 ground beef tacos, 2 potato tacos, 1 side of queso. The young cashier was very polite and friendly (5 stars). She repeated my order back to me and everything was correct. The short skinny 90+ year old lady who handed me my food was neither, she was short and rude (1 star). She was also the one who bagged my order, and therefore the one who screwed up my order. The guacamole had whole chunks of avocado and brown roots throughout it... disgusting. Ground beef tacos has no parmesan, which is the only reason anyone buys tacos from Jimboys.
We’ve been going to Jimboy’s for over 30 years and unfortunately haven’t liked some of the new menu items (please bring back the original Super Burrito! but we love this location. Still great ground beef tacos, bean burritos, and taco salad. The nicest staff too!
Always great service and amazing tacos and burritos
