Not again and not at that Price
We had a fantastic time at the Royal Hotel last weekend! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the cozy warmth from the fireplace made up for the chilly weather. The food was absolutely amazing—especially the tiger prawns and the best burgers we've ever had! Plus, our stunning room offered breathtaking views of the endless landscape. It was the perfect, peaceful getaway, and we will definitely be back for more!
We ordered the Eggs Benedict with sourdough bread and Parma ham. When our breakfast finally arrived, there was no sourdough bread—only Sasko Sam brown bread with the crusts cut off. The Parma ham was nice, and the poached eggs were well done; I can’t fault them on that. Was it worth the price they were asking? Perhaps, but I won’t be returning.
Fantastic food and wonderful staff! I really don't understand why this place has such a low star rating. The prawn tian is absolutely exquisite, and their fish and chips are equally impressive. Overall, a great experience!
I always find myself spending time at the hotel, even if it's just for a cup of coffee or a cocktail crafted by the bartender. I like to indulge in my favorite drink, a cheese platter, or a bowl of chips, along with something light to eat. The view from the back is something I truly cherish. Yesterday, I watched five calves frolicking on the dam, running a few hundred meters away. The white mountains looked stunning with their bright and dark green foliage. I savored the sunset behind the mountains and enjoyed the gentle breeze that provided relief after a hot day in the valley.
