The restaurant is located in a magnificent location, with a magnificent view of the mountains from monte pink to matthorn. the service is attentive, the food is recommended very well.
I really enjoyed two times lunch here. The food was really good, although expensive (but this is Swiss Alps). The panoramic view is really awesome. You can see the Matterhorn in the distance and glance at the mountains to the South where Italy begins. This...restaurant is located in the center of a nice skiing resort. Really like it.
The view is undoubtedly fantastic overlooking the Alps chain with the Matterhorn in the background. The chalet which has recently been renovated is very much attracting you with its cozy atmosphere BUT the food (at least for lunch) is very disappointing. The choice is limited...and they should at least have it translated in French and/or English for all menus (especially given the large number of Tourists and that Switzerland is not only made of Swiss-German). Frankly did not digest well their food (bolognese pasta).
We stayed at the Chuestall Hutte next to this restaurant for nights which is phenomenal and an experience to be on everyone's bucket list. It's literally a cozy, isolated haven perched on top of a mountain, with the most comfortable beds and very modern...and plush facilities. The restaurant serves fantastic food. We had unlimited Raclette one evening, which was divine and we also had breakfast the following morning which was a feast of cheese, ham, salami, boiled eggs and breads, coffee etc. We sat for a couple of hours just grazing and watching the clouds move and shift across the mountains outside. Tobias and Andy were fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful for walking routes. I can't wait to go back here in the winter time.
