Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs - Riga

It was a great experience. The place has an outdoor seating, but i strongly recommend to go inside, basically this place is located subterranean, giving an atmosphere to be back on time. Great to go by yourself or a couple, for a beer, a tea, lunch or dinner. It's really not expensive and a great portion. Has happy hour and you can two beer for the price of one. Excellent service, friendly and willing to accommodate all requests.

Good Happy hour between 4 and 6. Half price beer. Nice food. Beef was a little cold. Beer platter okay. Chicken fine . Would return for veer and folk music

Food is fine, nothing too special but still has good value with such cheap price. Service is superrr slowww. The restaurant seems to be always crowded but the amount of waiters is not enough. The live music is nice. Not too noisy so you can still talk. The restaurant is in a basement with ‘ancient’ architecture and decoration. I really enjoy it and the atmosphere.

It must be your cup of tea, but this place has an amazing atmosphere. Especially if you like beer and Latvian cuisine, this place is great. We went twice during our three-day stay in Riga(! . Portions that are served are great and good value, just like the drinks. The staff was friendly. If you want to dine at a table, booking is recommended in advance, otherwise you will probably end up at the bar at a busy night like us for the first time (which was actually also a pretty good place to eat. Some evenings there (loud live music, so consider that communication with each other is almost impossible.

This place is simply amazing. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Many different beers from the tap and in the bar there is a wide choice for different drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful, even if the place was full, I mean, the people stood, the staff had everything under control. On weekends they have a live band on stage and around 23 came a DJ and the disco started. Very recommended.
