Happy Valley Restaurant - Rimbey

This restaurant is a fantastic neighborhood spot with excellent Chinese cuisine. The prices are fair and the portions are generous - a meal for one could easily feed two people. Overall, it's really good.

We went to the restaurant for the Sunday buffet. The selection was small and the food was overcooked and cold. However, the last straw was when a waiter accidentally spilled a pitcher of water with ice and the owner didn't bother to clean it up. The water remained on the carpet in the middle of the aisle until we left. It was a safety hazard as someone could have slipped and gotten hurt. It's unfortunate that this is the only Chinese restaurant in the city.

Eating is decent....not great....not bad. they have overtaken everything. when it's fried, it's fried to crack. the vegetables are cooked until soggy. the egg rolls are great! shipping cost $5.00 even tho I am only 2 blocks away! also overpriced.

The food here was dirty and all four dishes had no taste. tables where dirty. the service was okay.

After not visiting for a long time, we decided to give this restaurant another chance. It was not very crowded on a weeknight, but the food was tasty. We would definitely return.
