Cuisine et Dependance - Rimouski

We chose to have dinner at this restaurant by chance, we were passing by and the mention of a gin and tonic convinced us. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were excellent.

Un bel accueil par un chef passionné, Seb qui a créé un pont entre la gastronomie et le fast food. En entrée, les petits pavé de saumon et les crevettes frites étaient excellents. J'ai pris le burger C&D sans frite et j'ai osé ajouter la poutine au homard... (que j'ai partagé...) heureusement parce que les portions ne sont pas généreuses... Elles sont méga généreuses. Tout à fait excellent!!! J'ai aussi gouté à la poutine C&D qui était excellente. Des amis ont pris le mac & cheese, la poutine cochon et les guedille au homard. Que de bons commentaires!!! Seb et son équipe ont sortie les assiettes du groupe (10 personnes) rapidement!! Pas un énorme choix de vin (1 rouge et 2 blancs) mais très bien choisi et délicieux. Le menu diffère selon l'inspiration du chef. Prenez le temps de vous le faire expliquer, il est passionné et ça ajoute à l'expérience de la soirée. Merci Seb! Cool spot to enjoy a good meal in downtown Rimouski! The restaurant is lovely decorated with snowboards and skateboards. You can see how your burger or your poutine are prepared in the open kitchen, or you can watch the cool snowboard movie which is shown on of of the TV screens, while waiting for your meal. The lobster sandwich and the burger we had were reeeeally delicious. The guys working in the kitchen really love what they are doing, so it seems :) Cute waitress was charming as well. Highly recommended!

Eating at Cuisine et Dépendance is always a pleasure. The menu is always different, featuring beautiful products from our region. The ambiance is lovely, staff is courteous, and the chef-owner, Sébastien, is a true enthusiast. Congratulations and keep up the great work!

Everything they serve is truly perfect!!! Smoked salmon WOW!!! Poutine like you've never eaten anywhere else... Nothing to do with the qualifier "one of the best" no no THE BEST one made with so much love. And do not miss the Duck legs with maple syrup without words... no words strong enough truly perfect Generous cuisine. It's not fine dining, the plates are full. But everything that is served is of very high quality cuisine.
