It is walking distance to the main street, and centrally located on the beach (near a good spot for boogey boarding). It is best to stay here only if you have minimum amount of knowledge of Spanish, as this is not a hotel for English speaking tourists. We like it because it is not filled with ex-pats.
This quaint Mexican hotel is right on the beach. Short walk to the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. the staff were very nice and helpful. Most speak some English.
We had a good breakfast here, and returned the next day for supper. The special for two was copious, well presented and delicious! Margarita included was excellent too! The restaurant is close to the beach, and also the plaza, so easy to find!
Great little place several steps off the beach but very unpretentious with no one waving you in. Daily specials for breakfast, lunch and supper are most worthwhile. Staff are friendly and helpful with a touch of humour. Never crowded for reasons unknown. The specials for two people vary but the pork ribs were most filling for us with a hungry appetite. A drink and dessert were included (which is common for specials in RdG) We have eaten at this place for the last 4 years and have found it completely satisfactory to keep us coming back. Please give it a try as it seems to be bypassed for many a traveller. Also, it states happy hour is 12-2 but if you inquire, they may compy with extensions. Friendly staff.Nice tables available outside in the courtyard for a fresh air experience with no music.PS: Remember RdG does not stay open late so always confirm if they will serve when you are going to show up later in the evening.
