Heard a couple good comments about the Grove restaurant at the Woodbound Inn so we thought we'd give it a try. VERY VERY LONG wait for everything: 15 minutes for our first drink, over 30 minutes for our dinner, more than 15 minutes for the check, and it was not a busy Thursday evening. We ordered the Scallop Piccata $32 and the Chicken Marsala $22. For the price of the meals, the portions were very small, especially considering they do not include bread, soup or salad with the entrees. The food was okay, nothing out of this world, so I would not return to this restaurant based on the overall experience. Great restaurant, out of the way but very good. Small restaurant with 9 tables places to sit at a live edge bar. Pub in another area of the Inn. Good food, good service. Live entertainment. Parking: Parking lot out front and out back. Kid-friendliness: A little bit expensive to bring your children. Wheelchair accessibility: Can easily get a wheelchair inside. New menu coming soon! Appreciate that restaurant is open on Monday nights, when most others are closed. Outdoor dining on screen porch or on open deck with live music most weekends.
