Friendly folks, great food, town has lots of history. Worth the visit. Salad bar was fresh. Best Philly cheese steaks ever. I had 3 servers helping me, they were fast and great.

Laidback country atmosphere, feels like I am at the house except I don’t have to wash the dishes when I am finished. Locally owned and operated. They employ a lot of local high school students to serve and buss tables, which I think is a great thing. I started working when I was in high school. Though young the staff are very professional and polite. I you have read any of you would know service and atmosphere can get a 5 star review even if the food is mediocre. Home Plat Grill has it all! We will be back soon.

I am a city guy, but I do love the the small town food. Home Plate had a welcoming feeling the moment I stepped in the door. The employees work together instead of assigned tables; I thought that was great, much more friendly. As for the food I had an open faced roast beef sandwich, out standing not just lunch meat. I also had onion rings which were superb. The food was so filling I did not get dessert. Friendly staff homely ambience and a clean resurant equals a return visit, you shoul too.

The service couldn't be better. Every server is your server. They share tips tables so, your cup is never empty the food is always delivered hot right away. They have daily specials/sides good home cooking. There's a salad bar a good variety offered in the menu. There's something for everyone
