This narrow and unassuming place hides probably the best food we've had in Porto, and the cheapest. We had the feijoada, the portion size is huge, and it's so generous in the different meat cuts. The staff is very nice and they almost anticipate everything you'll need and make great recommendations (the deserts in particular were a great suggestion)
Excelente comida portuguesa. Excelente atenção. Bom ambiente
This place wasn't fancy or even very atmospheric but every table was filled on a Wednesday night, the service and food are the reason why. We were at a loss choosing a wine, so our waiter told us to try a Burmester white which was crisp and dry (only 10 euros for the bottle! . Since that choice was spot on we had him pick the rest of our meal for us. A plate of small lightly fried sardines, a seafood rice and the special of the day a stew of beef, various sausages and vegetables with rice. All were outstanding and despite being full, we had to go with his final selection for desert, a cake with nuts and creamy icing. Perfection! The entire meal cost 45 euros, unbelievable!!
