Lasai - Rio de Janeiro

If you go to Rio and don’t visit Lasai, you will miss out on one of the best culinary experiences there is on the planet! This multi-award winning restaurant is amazing. We made a reservation for the Chef’s table. The Chef is an easy going guy (Rafa) who will take the time to answer your questions and carefully explain his dishes and inspiration for them. He runs his kitchen like a well-oiled machine and all his staff are super attentive and cordial. The service is impeccable and you will never wait more than a minute or two before your next course or cocktail is in front on you. Don’t miss out on the optional cheese course or wine/cocktail pairing and put a bow on the night by having a cup of coffee or tea on their rooftop as you digest your meal. Well worth the price!!

Excellent all around. Terrific and innovative food that in my opinion merges the creativity and experimentation of Jose Andres with the sophistication of Daniel Bouloud. Chef Costa e Silva's dishes are feast for the palate and everything from the ambiance, to the wine and the service were perfect. I highly recommend Lasai while in Rio.

We had our Farewell TAUCK Dinner here and it was outstanding from beginning to end. The food was uniquely presented and delicious! The service could not have been better. One of the best meals we had on our two week tour! The entertainment was a lot of fun also.

The festival menu with cocktail pairing was top notch. It was a great night out.
