Le Blond - Rio de Janeiro

I really liked this place until recently. The quality has gone down significantly. Service is now slow and disorganized. Today the beef came extremely salty and not at the right cooking. Fries were cold. After complaining no solution was given rather than waiting another 40 minutes for the food. Either go back to what it was or go out of business.

I don’t just give 5 stars to everyone. This place definitely deserves it. The first time I came was so amazing i was skeptical they could duplicate it on my second trip. They didn’t just duplicate it, they topped it. One of the best restaurants in Rio!!

Really good French cooking, nice mixture of textures in the Risotto. Big portions. Amazing Mousse au Chocolat.

Great place by a famous Brazilian/French Chef Claud. Try the Dadinho de Tapioca and their Moqueca or steak

I reserve 5 stars for truly memorable experiences and most importantly, memorable food. Each dish was a combination of ingredients that I have never tasted together. An incredible fusion of Brazilian and French cuisine. Especially impressive was the scallop ceviche which included a mild yet unexpected coconut milk dill sauce. My entree, fish w/ caramelized banana, was a mix of flavors that I will remember forever...please try it!!!
