Dining at a Pizza Hut in Rio is much like it was 20 years ago in the U.S. It 's a place where you eat with family to celebrate achievements and to recognise milestones. This ideal is supported by waitstaff that are warm and friendly, and the food tasted as though it 'd been locally-sourced. At the time of my visit, Pizza Hut came off as a very expensive dining experience, both from a P/S (i.e., price-to-serving perspective, and in relation to its U.S. counterparts. In fact, our large two-topping pizza, side-order of wings, and three soft drinks came to a total of $51.15 (R$130, before conversion . Today, at a forex of 4:1 vis-à-vis the U.S. dollar, that very same meal would cost only $32.50.
