When a family friend picked up the cake for us, we were disappointed to find it came with fruit and coconut, neither of which we had requested. Unfortunately, my fiancé is allergic to coconut, so we immediately called the bakery to see if we could have them remake the cake. We even offered to collect it in a couple of weeks, understanding that scheduling might be difficult for them. The person we spoke with assured us they could remake the cake, but insisted we would need to pay full price for the new one, despite their mix-up. We declined to pay for a new cake under those circumstances. The representative then offered to remove the extra toppings from our cake for an additional $10, which we refused since we were concerned that there could still be contamination that might trigger my fiancé's allergy. We could easily remove the toppings ourselves without any charge. Given how dismissively they handled what should have been a straightforward resolution, we have decided not to give our business to a company that does not take responsibility for its errors. It’s unfortunate because we genuinely liked their cakes and were excited about having them cater our special day.

Best Tres Leches Cake in town. I ordered the most lovely Christmas cake from this bakery. I've been to many Latino bakeries and this family owned small-business tops them all. Come in early, because their bread can sell out.

Ok being raised in Sacramento I have always been an Esperanza fan but since I am now in north sacI have been looking for a panaderia of the same quality I found it in I C! I no longer have to drive to south Sacramento. The pan is delicious!!! They even have minis which I have gotten quite often. Everything we have gotten there including cakes are always delicious! Every time we place an order it is fresh and ready! The best time to go is early because they do get sold out. I have recommended to people I know and gladly give them 5 stars!!! Enjoy

60 bucks for a cake, they haven't tried yet, but their edible picture printer is broken because it looks terrible. No time to fix it because the party just starts. Never order here again.
