Sushi King - Rio Rancho

I love Thai food especially fried rice and red curry. Pad Thai is my second option. Thai Sushi is the only Thai option in Enchanted Hills area. Good food and lots.

Great flavors for the yellow curry. Spring rolls very fresh and tasty. A new favorite Thai place.

On Friday, January 15, 2021, at around 12:30 PM, I placed a pickup order at a Thai and sushi restaurant. I was told it would take about 15 to 20 minutes, but they didn’t know I was waiting in my car right outside. After the 20-minute mark, I decided to go inside, where I was greeted by the chef in the kitchen area. I informed him about my to-go order, and he called over the waitress/greeter. She quickly pointed out my order, which was already boxed and ready on the pickup table—how convenient! I ordered two servings of Spicy Hot Shrimp Fried Rice for $23.90 and one order of two Chicken Egg Rolls for $5.95. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The shrimp in the fried rice were large and very noticeable; I didn’t have to search for them at all. The chicken egg rolls were packed with plenty of chicken meat, and they even included a small container of dipping sauce in the Styrofoam container. Everything tasted fresh and vibrant! The portion sizes were fantastic! The waitress who took my payment had a lovely singing voice too. Apparently, the song playing on the radio when I arrived was one of her favorites because she came over to the register singing along! I can’t wait for the state restrictions due to COVID-19 to be lifted so I can enjoy dining in. I will definitely return to try more items from the menu, hopefully inside the restaurant next time!

My stir-fry was more like an oily soup (see photo), and they forgot to include my spicy seasonings. The portion size was decent, and the person who took my order was really helpful and answered all my questions. I just wish I had received what I was expecting, along with the seasonings I wanted.

The sushi here is excellent, and they also offer Thai cuisine. The prices for dishes range from approximately $6 to $20, depending on your selection.
