Seven Stars Pub Petersfield

Really poor. Sunday roast. We had to wait 20 mins for our table. We then had to ask for our drinks then remind someone that we had ordered drinks. We then had to ask for someone to take our order for food after 15 mins. The table was booked for 2pm but even at this time they had ran out of some sides. Food arrived and the beef was completely overdone. We then had to ask to order more drinks. Finally our empty plates sat in front of us for another 10 mins after the final person finished before we asked for the bill. We waited for it for a further 10 minutes before deciding to pay at the bar. By taking a look at some other reviews it seems our experience was not a one off. This would suggest the management are either inept or just don’t care. Absolute shambles..finally we got the customer satisfaction survey and gave a pretty honest and constructive responseand got no reply. Again, inept or don’t care. Came on a rainy Sunday at a busy time but found the food and service was very good! Although ran out of beef... the pork was as good! Been here 3 times now and found the atmosphere is very chilled/ enjoyable. Dog freindly And oh character Inside too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Came here for Sunday roast after we had booked a table. We were told someone would be over to take our drinks order but half an hour later we had to remind them we were there. We then made our order but no drinks arrived. Multiple items unavailable. Got up to walk out but food then arrived. The beef was tough as old boots, roast potatoes were all dried up, veg was good. Bar staff did apologise for no drinks and took this and the beef off the order. Wouldn't return. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
