Small place, so if you blink you might miss it. The food was delicious, the service was great and timely, very helpful as to what was good and what was best. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal.
Business is permanently closed. it closed during covid in summer 2020. please do not try to go there.
Stopped based on the Yelp rating. Not sure it's a 4.5 star spot. Decor was outdated. We sat outside, which was fully screened. Nice not to have to think about bugs. Service was great. Prompt. Flexible with special orders (hubby added egg to a burger and they had another burger with an egg) We had cheese curds (Ellsworth's). They were hot and yummy. French onion soup was average. Bacon and egg cheeseburger was good. If you want runny yolk be sure to ask. It comes fried. Maple glazed salmon was sweet and savory. The maple glaze crusted. Very enjoyable. The Beefster was bland and maller than expected. It was topped with prime rib, which was tasty but overshadowed by the provolone cheese.
My 78 year old mom went here tonight with all of her brothers and sisters. They all had to sit in two booths and two tables but were charged an automatic tip by the waitress. I thought that was only done when people get to sit as a group? My mom ordered the cod special and received one TINY piece of fish with one little potato. Had to pay extra for the side salad... all in all was charged $18. When she said something to the waitress about how disappointing it was nothing was done. For $18 this little 120 pound lady should not be leaving hungry! Unreal. Sadly we don't have a picture of the disappointing meal.
We didn't have great service and the food wasn't great. I've been here before with mixed results. Decor is old and dreary.
