St Croix Lanes - River Falls

What a fantastic place overall! The dining area offers a beautiful view of a scenic nature landscape. The staff is friendly and attentive, which is always a plus. The drinks are great, and the food is typical bar fare—good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Plus, there are nice bowling alleys for your entertainment!

I paid $6.25 for a drink that was only filled two-thirds of the way. The waitress offered to take it back and bring me a new one, but I didn’t receive any credit for the first drink. Since COVID, we’ve been returning about once or twice a month, and it has generally been a good experience. However, the fish I ordered was a very thin piece, heavily battered, which made it difficult to eat. Overall, I was disappointed with the meal, especially considering we spent $37.70 for two meals. I decided to take some photos before I threw away the leftover piece I brought home.

It's a lovely spot for a good meal! However, it could be a bit warmer inside, as you may want to keep your coat on. Additionally, the rug in the entryway needs to be changed, as it tends to keep the door open.

Food was okay after waiting two hours! Rude wait staff. Large party seated after our order was taken was served first. After a very long wait we heard that they ran out of the fish, our order was incorrect and we were told to just take it or we wouldn 't get anything because they ran out!

Nice place. Clean, bright. Pizza was excellent. Nice selection of beers on tap. Ashley was attentive and friendly!! The cook came out and asked how the food was, very nice!
