Contribuisci feedback5 out of 5 for all the meals I have had there, UNFORTUNATELY GASPERETTIS IS CLOSED FOR GOOD. A real loss to Yakima's hospitality wonderland and community. RIP
When my husband and I want a great meal in a charming space we head for this family run boutique of fine dining. Starting with the famous onion rings, our stomachs hunger for more. The terrific wait staff can recommend great pairings. One of us will order one of a favorite mains and the other will try the special. A filling meal and sometimes we will have room for an incredible dessert. We always leave very happy and satisfied.
Was a little unsure about the place after some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Not very busy on a Saturday night but the atmosphere was pleasant. Started with a Boodles martini, the anti pasta plate, bread and mushroom soup. All very good. The entrees were all superb. I got the pasta alle vongole (clam) which was good, put I prefer it with shells. It could have been a little juicier. Really good though. Finished with the creme brûlée. The service was outstanding and we had a really nice time. It looks like it is still run by the original family. We will be back.
We sat in a comfortable booth, the service was unobtrusive but excellent, and the food and wine were delicious. It was particularly nice to be able to choose a pasta, then choose a sauce, and be able to add a meat if you wanted to. Both the sauces we tried were great. The portions are just right so that you're not stuffed but not hungry. We would definitely eat here again!
We arrived a few minutes before six, the end of happy hour. I got a glass of Italian red wine at happy hour prices, then ordered pasta in clam sauce. This can be boring but not here. It was delicious, a little spicy with a unique taste. I also ordered a half portion of a salad, I forget the name but it had apples and nuts and was big enough to share. He had ravioli which was more traditional.
