Tokyo Joe's Riverside (central)

I honestly don't understand where all the negative reviews are coming from. The food is incredibly tasty; both the beef and chicken taste very fresh and are cooked to perfection—juicy and delicious. My daughters are quite picky eaters, but they had no trouble finishing their meals here. I also really enjoyed the crab meat sushi roll!

--- I ordered from this restaurant through Grubhub back in March 2018 for a rainy day meal. I really enjoyed the wild salmon dish; it was excellent! The General Tso's soup was also tasty, and I noticed a great improvement in the rice from my previous experience. However, my party of four had a mixed experience. My daughter's miso soup was excessively salty, and the mandarin oranges in her bento box tasted off, as if they had gone bad. They seemed canned, rather than fresh. I tried both items, and while she said the rest of her meal was fine, my tuna poké bowl was decent, although it lacked the typical sushi rice texture. My friend's rice also suffered from the same issue; it was undercooked and not sticky like sushi rice should be. On a positive note, my other friend enjoyed his soup without any complaints. The restaurant itself was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the décor was lovely. However, the parking area was poorly lit, which was concerning. The prices were on the higher side, which is acceptable if the food quality meets those expectations. Unfortunately, it didn't in this case. --- Let me know if you need any further adjustments!

Delicious and quick healthy dining! The atmosphere is laid-back, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

New river bank ice cream is great. healthy eating and great environment. bryce was great and the total customer service was above the average. a bad thing is the water of the soda machine. it tastes awful give soda funny taste.

I rarely use this word but for this place ill say it. I LOVE this place. The people here are absolutely amazing and the food is top notch. You have food for everyone no matter if you are a vegan, a meat lover or suffer from allergies they have you covered. Plus they have amazing sauces for any taste palate. And if you love tea they have 6 different flavors to choose from. Mondays you get buy on get one sushi or poke bowls and on Thursdays they have buy one get one deals on they're signature bowls. So if you're hungry and want to eat some clean tasty food give this place a try and i guarantee you will not regret it!!!
