This restaurant offers exceptional Chinese cuisine and excellent service. It's a family-owned establishment that has been in business for over 30 years, and it truly shines. The food is made fresh, and the service is quick and efficient. Highly recommended!

If you want cheap Chinese foods that you return to the early/medium 90s, this is the place for you. Our server didn't understand much. The oolong tea was great. The prices were good, but the quality of the food was reflected. Not the best, far from the worst.

This charming, old-style Chinese restaurant brings back memories of the places I used to visit as a child. The prices are quite reasonable. We enjoyed the egg foo young (with brown gravy), chow mein, and egg rolls—all were delicious. The only dish we didn’t care for was the orange chicken, which was overly sweet and the chicken itself was tough. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient, and the restaurant's interior was clean. We plan to return!

The food was pretty good. Not fat, the ham of fried rice needed a little more... I had to drop a star because the place where he was stuck and worn. This place really needs a makeup.

What an incredible lunch! My brother has been dining at the Golden Tree Café for 30 years, and he considers it one of his favorite lunch spots. If you’ve been in the Salt Lake area for a long time and remember places like South Seas and Kowloon, this café has a similar feel but is even better. While it could benefit from a decor update, the food truly steals the show—it's delicious, hot, and generous in portions. The Chicken Chow Mein was the best I’ve had in ages, and the Egg Foo Young was perfect, featuring a delightful gravy and excellent texture. We visited with a large group of eight, and our total bill with sodas came to about $80, making it a fantastic value. I’m so glad we discovered Golden Tree Café; the service was quick and exceptionally friendly. I apologize for not taking a photo this time, but I promise to capture one on my next visit!
