Given the current trend in customer service, it was a refreshing experience to walk in right before closing and be greeted with big smiles and a willingness to accommodate my unusual sandwich requests. Thank you for that wonderful experience!
I ordered food for delivery and went out to sit on my porch when the app indicated it was on its way. When the driver finally arrived, I expected him to get out and hand me my food. However, it felt like he took about five minutes before he actually brought it to me. It was 94 degrees outside, and since his car windows were open, I assume the AC wasn't working. As a result, the veggies in my order weren't cold. Thankfully, my drink was okay. Overall, it was evident that delivering my order wasn't his main focus.
As a former manager at Jimmy John's who has worked at this location in the past, I have to say that the food today was good. However, it was evident that the staff were overwhelmed, as it took 15 minutes to prepare my single sandwich. Additionally, I received the wrong order and almost left with someone else's two sandwiches and chips, but thankfully, I checked the bag first. They also forgot to include my Kickin' Ranch, but the employee kindly provided me with an extra when I mentioned it. While I enjoyed the food, the service was quite slow, and they could benefit from hiring more staff or improving their employee performance. The experience was definitely different from when I used to manage the place.
Bread and Tuna not fresh. Understaffed. Technology breaking... Cash register and headsets. I've been happier with the other Jimmy John locations much more.
I ordered 5 sandwiches and chips at 11:50am for pick up. We got there about 12:15 after we got confirmation it was being made. After waiting 32 minutes our food still wasn't done. My husband went in and asked again and was told it would be done he watched as they were prioritizing the drive thru and door dash over our order and would stop making ours to push the others out that had just ordered.... we finally got to leave at 12:42 pm!!! If you want fast service do not go here.
