So why the 3-star rating? I can't give it 2.5, and to be fair, my daughter really enjoyed her turkey sandwich. It actually looked quite appetizing when it arrived, and halfway through the meal, I started to wish I had ordered that instead. The service was what I expected, and the atmosphere was the same as well. Would I come back? Probably. I’d like to try the turkey sandwich and hopefully leave feeling happy and satisfied.

I used to visit this restaurant regularly at its previous location, and it was always great. However, I've tried the new Quarry Bend location twice now, and both experiences were marred by the front-of-house staff. My party and I felt ignored on both occasions, as later arrivals were seated before us. On a positive note, the food is decent, and the waitstaff have done a commendable job each time.

This restaurant has the classic, home-cooked charm that appeals to longtime patrons. The food was decent, but the experience was marred by the service. I've never chosen to not tip a server until now; the server's attitude was astonishingly poor. When I asked her about a specific dish on the menu, she pointed to it with her long, unkempt fingernail and sarcastically said, "It says right here what it’s like." I was taken aback. Her demeanor was grumpy and short-tempered, showing a complete lack of hospitality. From the absence of a warm greeting to the indifferent service, the front-of-house staff really missed the mark. However, there were a couple of older gentlemen in the kitchen who seemed to be the owners, and they were fantastic. They just need to hire a friendlier and more welcoming staff. This place could use a reboot.

For 20 years, I've noticed Jim's around town but never thought to try it—what a mistake that was! Their food is amazing and the servers are incredibly friendly. Even the manager is super welcoming! I absolutely love going there! The portion sizes are typically generous for the price, and everyone in my family really enjoys their meals. My mom can't get enough of her bi-weekly Hot Turkey Sandwich fix; she's quite the character! A special shout-out to our favorite waitress, Karen! She does such a great job remembering our names and various details about our family. She truly embodies the family spirit at Jim's Family Diner!

We love coming to Jim's! The food is great, the staff is wonderful, and we love chatting with the owner when they're in. Great environment and the decorations are always changing.
