Ore Bucket Lounge - Riverton

Arrival at 17.40. The posted hours explain, they are open until 8:00 on Saturday. Signs on chalkboard inside said they were only open until 19:00. We're out of town and we met family members there for dinner. There were 4 of us. Order and get our food shortly after 6. An order was wrong. What was ordered was $7.95, which was delivered was $16.95. Didn't have time to wait for a replacement meal and thought they had to throw away the mistake, so ate what was delivered. At 6:20, the guy started to tear down the salad bar next to us, knocked so loud and sounded (especially when he smiled the whole ice with a bucket) that we couldn't hear to visit each other. Asked if they always do that when customers were there and were informed that they were closed at 6:00, made a decision after we were sitting and ordered. They said they decided to do this because they had only 2 customers since 15:00. When the server took the ticket that I mentioned to her that one order was wrong, but instead of having to throw it away and make another (which means that a person would not have their food while the others ate), she went on and ate it. She went with another server and that brought the ticket without adjustment. They said because the food was eaten (instead of being thrown away), they would not make any adjustment. You said it was the manager's decision. I wanted to talk to the manager and they said he wasn't there. After our departure we noticed that the car parks were full at 3 nearby restaurants. We decided that there was a good reason why they had only 2 customers in a 3-hour period. The food was good, or I thought it was awfully poor.

Not good! Now has the same owners as Paintbrush, Super 8 and Motel 6. Sundowner was rebuilt a few years ago and former owners were proud of cheap accommodation that were comfortable and clean. Look for a fast downward spiral and overwhelming stench as its other properties.

I had the onion rings that were good. The New York Strip Steak, which is pretty good. Not a bit. Fat and a baked potato that could not have melted the butter.

Obviously these people are not concerned about the spread of the virus. We had people on two levels around us and nobody had masks. We will not return.
