Baskin-robbins - Riverview

We arrived at 9:40 PM after being informed over the phone that the restaurant closes at 10. However, a woman at the entrance rudely instructed us to leave, stating that we could only order from the drive-thru. This was not our first encounter with such poor customer service at this place. When we drove up to the drive-thru, she yelled that we were unwelcome, mistakenly believing we were another family that had been inside at the same time. Once we clarified that we were a different group, she took our order with obvious irritation. It was disappointing to see them turn away 20 people both at the door and at the drive-thru.

I’m giving this place 4 stars because I ordered a birthday cake, and it was fantastic. However, I wouldn't choose to spend time here, as the establishment was quite messy—there were crumbs all over the counters, and nothing looked particularly tidy or appealing. That said, the cakes in the freezer looked great, and the one I ordered was delicious and ready on time.

I have visited this Baskin Robbins multiple times and have often been let down, but this experience was just ridiculous. I ordered a double scoop of vanilla ice cream with double scoops of Oreo topping, and what I received was far from that. When I pointed out that I had been charged for double scoops of both vanilla and Oreos, they looked at me like I was crazy. I ended up paying $6 for what I got, and I eventually had to ask for more Oreos.

I just picked up some hand-packed quarts of my two all-time favorite flavors: World Class Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate! I feel like I've struck gold! They still hand-pack the ice cream! Additionally, the staff member who helped me went above and beyond to deliver excellent service!

I'm rating this place 4 stars because the birthday cake I ordered was fantastic. However, I wouldn't choose to spend time here, as the shop was quite messy, with crumbs scattered across the counters, giving it an unkempt and uninviting feel. On the positive side, the cakes in the freezer looked impressive, and the one I ordered was both delicious and prepared right on time.
